Rapidoscope RS 4000
The RAPIDOSCOPE is one of the latest high capacity designs from RADX, a well known U.S. manufacturer of motorized radiograph film viewers. RADX brings over 20 years of U.S. technology development to Europe and is manufacturing the RAPIDOSCOPE in its Swiss facility.
The NEW variable illumination system developed by RADX surpasses all standard lighting currently available for radiograph diagnosis. This NEW system is designed to provide more uniform illumination at all levels. A 10 step switch easily changes the illumination intensity up to 5.500 Cd/m2 . Each of the 35 x 43 cm sections can be individually controlled with an on-off switch.
The RAPIDOSCOPE model RS 4000 is ideally suited for high volume X-Ray departments. It is extremely quiet during operation. It has a tilted lower and vertical upper belt, uniform illumination and incrementally adjustable brightness. Hand and foot controls are within easy reach. The unit needs less than 2 square meters of floor space, and is delivered ready to operate after minimum set-up. The RAPIDOSCOPE is mounted on heavy duty 10cm castors and easily rolls through a standard doorway. Relocation requires no levelling or special electrical service. The RAPIDOSCOPE is ideally suited for people with long legs, because of the design of the tabletop and extra room under the machine.
The two middle light panels are equipped with independently controlled electronic shutters for reading small size films without the negative influence of too much stray light around the films.
Each sequential frame requires less than 1.5 seconds to come into viewing position, and the unique belt design assures NO LOST FILMS! It is fast, quiet and secure. |

Multiscope 4000 Film & Digital Viewing Station
|
The new MULTISCOPE 4000 is a combined film and digital viewing station which incorporates all the best features of a RADX motorized film viewer and an Aurora “Sunrise” viewing station.
The automatic film viewing section has a horizontally moving mylar belt in the upper section which can hold 200 films. The films are displayed on a four panel light box with a uniform illumination and an incrementally adjustable brightness to 5.500 Cd/m2. Each panel can be switched individually.
The digital viewing station, located at the lower section, has four monitors and can display and manipulate digital images from any Dicom-3 compatible source. Aurora workstations are a highly cost effective means of viewing images from digital sources. The system is compatible with most display monitors in either 1k x 1k or 2k x 2k resolution. |

Deskscope 2000
The Deskscope 2000 uses eight daylight colour (6300 K) lamps which are powered by a special designed high frequency ballast unit. This has been acknowledged to provide the best gray scale for radiological use. ON/OFF switches control lighting seperate in each 36 x 43cm panel. Horizontal and vertical reflectors divide the 142 x 43cm illuminator into four panels. These reflectors enhance the light uniformity by increasing the reflective surface area of each 36 x 43cm light panel. Motorized vertical shutters are located in the centre two 36 x 43cm panels, allowing the user to screen out unwanted extraneous light.
The Deskscope 2000 has one glare-free polyester belt. Film sizes from 13 x 15cm to 36 x 43cm may be intermixed and safely stored on the Deskscope 2000 belt. The belt system is motor driven and electronically controlled. The motor drive toggle switch is console mounted and moves the belt right or left to the desired position. The high capacity and fast operation increases efficiency and permits more diagnostic reports every day. With the optional Auto Select any radiograph is retrieved in seconds with exceptional ease. Entering the desired frame number with the hand-held keyboard quickly brings the new patient’s radiographs into view.
This compact unit may be placed on a desk, table or heavy duty shelf. Two erasable magnetic panels and a marker are provided to list a frame number reference with the patient’s name. |

Options
Cool Brite
The Cool Brite is a high intensity spot light with a light intensity over 25.000 Cd/m2, downwards adjustable with approx. 50%, activated by holding an X-Ray film above the sensor or by an optional foot switch. The light source does not radiate any heat (no infrared), so even after a long exposure of a film to the Cool Brite, it does not harm fingers or film.
Auto Select
The Auto Select is micro-computer controlled, providing random access with fast, automatic selection of any frame on the belt. The pictures are exactly positioned in front of the light screens. The system has a memory to store 10 different pictures of groups of pictures. These can be recalled from the memory.
RADX-View
The RADX-View controls the upper belt of the RS 4000 or Multiscope 4000. It is a video system with a high resolution CCD camera which projects X-Ray films on monitors. The system is designed for educational purposes and presentations.
Magnifier
The only magnifier through which you can look with both eyes, providing a natural view of details. |
